Arthur Fils has secured his place in the main draw. His win in three sets has advanced him to the ATP 500 Tokyo tournament. Fils is the highest-ranked player to qualify through this stage since 1990. Top players such as Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune are keeping an eye on his performance. Novak Djokovic's chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals are now under threat, with only five spots left in the race.
