Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will close for good after administrators received no offers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the provider's financial collapse, which has left families urgently searching for alternative care arrangements.

Administrators managed to sell some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 drew no offers. Parents have been given little time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown proceeds.
