An amateur skygazer using Google Maps located a broad ring-shaped dent in northern Quebec. Experts at Quebec’s geological survey authenticated it is a massive meteorite impact crater dating back 390 million years near Lake Mistassini. The ground formation mirrors other confirmed craters and signals a violent prehistoric strike. Satellite images were mapped against field data to confirm the result.
