Sabres Storm Back in Wild Score OT Win Over Minnesota

Buffalo rallied from two goals down to beat Minnesota 3-2 in overtime on Oct. 6. Owen Power scored the overtime winner to cap a third-period comeback that forced extra time. The Sabres were down for the bulk of the game before turning things around in the closing minutes.

In Montreal, Carolina beat the Canadiens 6-4 in their home opener. Taylor Hall tallied a pair of goals for the Hurricanes, who took control as the goals piled up at the Bell Centre.
