Chase Elliott ran into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He finished in 26th place. The vehicle sustained a hard impact but Elliott said the damage stayed minor. Subsequently, Alex Bowman said he will leave the sport after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may be filled by Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott exclusively talked about Bowman post crash, without discussing driver reshuffle.
